DigiLamon Food Review
If you’re a fan of unlimited grill places and you’re always on the lookout for a restaurant that offers both quality meat and a smooth dining experience, then Yoshimeatsu Davao is a spot you should consider. In fact, after our visit, I can honestly say it’s possibly one of the best unli yakiniku places in town — not just because of the meat selection, but also because of how well they handle service even during busy hours.
We went on a weekend at peak dinner time, which is probably the most challenging time to visit any popular unli place. As expected, it was packed. But what surprised us was how manageable the waiting time was.
We waited around 15 minutes before we got seated — not bad at all considering it was a weekend dinner rush. If you’ve tried other trending samgyup or yakiniku spots, you know that some places can make you wait 30 minutes to over an hour during peak hours, so this felt pretty reasonable.

Table of Contents
Price and Inclusions: ₱599 and Up
Let’s talk about the pricing because this is usually the first thing people ask about.
Yoshimeatsu’s price starts at ₱599, which already includes unli yakiniku, but take note: drinks are not included in the base package. If you want to order additional drinks or level up your dining experience, you’ll need to pay extra.
They also offer upgrades if you want:
✅ Hotpot option
✅ Additional drinks / add-ons
So it really depends on what type of dining experience you’re going for. But even if you stick to the basic ₱599 package, it already feels sulit — especially because the meats are genuinely good.
And here’s a nice bonus: they give free ice cream after your meal. 🍦
After all the grilled meat and side dishes, that little dessert feels like the perfect ending. It’s a small touch, but it adds value and makes the dining experience feel more complete.
The Main Highlight: Superb Meat Selections
Now let’s get into the real reason why Yoshimeatsu stands out: the meat selection.
Their meats are superb — and when I say superb, I mean they actually taste good. Not every unli grill place can pull that off. Some spots serve meat that feels too thin, overly processed, or bland unless you drown it in sauce. But Yoshimeatsu offers meat that feels fresh, flavorful, and satisfying even on its own.
If you’re coming here mainly for the yakiniku experience, you’re going to enjoy it because the meats are the main star and they deliver. It’s definitely a good place to samgyup / grill when you want something more than the usual “unli pork belly only” setup.
Side Dishes: Plenty of Options and Surprisingly Delicious
Another thing we liked is their variety of side dishes. Sometimes, side dishes in unli places feel like fillers — just there so the menu looks bigger. But at Yoshimeatsu, the side dishes are actually enjoyable and add variety to your meal.
It’s also great because not everyone wants to focus on meat alone. Side dishes help balance the meal, especially when you’re taking multiple refills.
Kimchi Fried Rice (Yes, Please!)
One of my favorite options from their side dishes is the kimchi fried rice. If you’re the type who needs rice to feel truly “busog,” this is a great choice.
It’s flavorful, comforting, and pairs really well with grilled meat. The kimchi flavor also adds that slightly tangy and savory profile that makes each spoonful exciting. It’s a simple option, but it makes the whole meal feel more satisfying.
Must-Try Item: Enoki Rolls
If I had to recommend one must-try item from Yoshimeatsu, it would be their enoki rolls.
This is the kind of dish you’ll want to reorder multiple times. The combination of enoki mushrooms wrapped in meat is always a classic favorite in grill restaurants, but Yoshimeatsu’s version stands out because it’s flavorful and hits the spot every time.
The enoki rolls are:
✅ tasty
✅ satisfying
✅ perfectly paired with sauces
✅ one of the best bites on the table
If you’re dining here for the first time, don’t forget to order this — it’s worth it.
Maki: Just Okay
Now let’s be honest because not everything can be perfect.
Their maki tastes okay — not bad, but also not the highlight. It’s nice to have sushi options available to add variety, but if you’re coming here to experience the best items, the meat selection and enoki rolls are definitely stronger than the maki.
Still, it’s a decent side option if you want something different between rounds of grilled meat.
A Big Win: QR Refill Option
One of the best things about Yoshimeatsu that I genuinely appreciated is their QR refill system.
Instead of calling a waiter, waving your hand, or waiting for someone to notice you (which can be stressful when the restaurant is crowded), you can simply use the QR code to request refills.
This feature makes the dining experience:
✅ smoother
✅ faster
✅ more efficient during peak hours
✅ less hassle for customers
✅ less pressure on staff
Honestly, this system is such a smart idea, especially for unli places that get packed during weekends. It makes the experience feel more modern and organized, and it’s one of those details that makes you want to come back.
Parking: Limited + Paid
The only downside we noticed is the parking situation.
Their parking is a bit limited, and you need to pay around ₱20. It’s not a huge dealbreaker, but it’s something to keep in mind, especially if you’re visiting on a weekend. The limited parking can be a challenge when the place is full, so if you want a smoother experience, it’s better to arrive earlier.
If you’re driving, prepare:
- extra cash for parking
- a little patience during peak hours
- and maybe consider arriving before dinner rush
Final Verdict: Worth Every Peso
Overall, Yoshimeatsu Davao is a solid unli yakiniku spot that delivers on what matters most: delicious meat, good side dishes, and a smooth dining system.
Here’s why I think it’s one of the best in town:
✔ ₱599 unli yakiniku option (already sulit)
✔ superb meat selections
✔ lots of side dishes to choose from
✔ kimchi fried rice option (winner!)
✔ enoki rolls are a must-try
✔ free ice cream after meal
✔ QR refill system = convenient and efficient
✔ great for weekend samgyup cravings
The only small drawback is the limited paid parking — but the overall experience still makes it worth visiting.
If you’re planning your next unli grill night in Davao, Yoshimeatsu is definitely one of the places you should try.
Yoshimeatsu Davao = unli yakiniku cravings satisfied. ✔️🔥
